When first opening the battery pack, the user should take a visual check to ensure there is no damage, puffiness, or visible broken seal. If any of these issues are present, the user should not use the battery and instead return it for replacement. Before installing the charging connector, it is recommended to check the voltage of the pack using a digital voltmeter rather than the charger.

All new battery packs will have a voltage of about 3.65V to 3.9V per cell. Lithium iron phosphate packs will have a voltage of about 3.2V to 3.4V per cell. This voltage range also applies to the 1S (1 cell) battery pack. The voltage of a 2S battery pack is about 7.60V-7.85V (the voltage of a lithium iron phosphate battery pack is about 6.4V-6.8V), and so on.

Charging Instructions: 1. You must use a Lithium Polymer (LiPo) specific charger only. 2. Never leave your batteries charging unattended. 3. Charge in an isolated area, away from flammable materials. 4. Make sure to select the correct voltage or cell count for charging purposes. 5. You must check the pack voltage after each use before recharging. 6. The charge rate should not exceed 1C unless it is otherwise specified.

Storage & Transportation: 1. Do not expose battery packs to direct sunlight or heat at any time. 2. Do not store the battery in the vehicle trunk. 3. Store batteries at room temperature between 40 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit for best results. 4. Batteries must be stored at 3.75V/cell to 3.9V/cell (LFP battery: 3.2V/cell to 3.4V/cell) and approximately 50% charged for the best result. 5. Storing at high temperature environments may cause fire, do not store at areas over 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

How to Take Care: 1. Only charge LiPo batteries with a good quality LiPo-specific charger in good condition, as it can be very dangerous otherwise. 2. Always cool down the battery after use before recharging. 3. Do not puncture the pack, as it may cause a fire, and do not use if it is punctured. 4. Never attempt to disassemble the battery pack. 5. Avoid the pack from contacting water, and do not use if it does. 6. Do not attempt to solder to the battery on your own, only use the connector.

Battery Life & Disposal Handling: 1. Batteries that lose 20% of their capacity should no longer be used and should be properly disposed of. 2. When disposing of the battery, ensure the anode and cathode are properly wrapped and insulated.

Friendly Tips: 1. When charging, it is recommended that the current is half to 2 times the battery capacity. 2. When using, be sure to set the Li-Po battery protection voltage, do not charge the battery more than 4.20V per cell (High voltage battery is 4.35V), and do not discharge below 3.2V per cell under load. 3. If the battery runs out, be sure to unplug the plug from the ESC. Otherwise, the ESC will secretly drain the battery voltage. 4. The battery capacity tested by the charger is generally inaccurate.
